Recently, I posted about the art deco building in Singapore called Parkview Sqaure. That gorgeous building features art deo statues just below the roofline holding lighted orbs.
For those of you that may want to dress up your own N scale scratchbuilt or kit art deco structures in the future with similar detail, something like these figures might be very difficult to locate or come by.
As luck would have it, while searching for quarter-round, I stumbled upon white metal castings intended for dollhouses that match the pose of these figures almost exactly. In N scale, the castings stand almost 17 scale feet tall including the base.
The detail isn’t great on the face, but certainly one of the closest things I think you’ll find for this type of structural detail. And the best part — they’re an economical $.80 each!
