I’ve been struggling a bit through the Subway Kiosk design… specifically because this is a very small structure with most of its surface covered by glass. To design this in scale, the overall stability goes way down because there’s minimal “walls” to help support everything. I’m certainly not scrapping the idea and I’m still working through it, but it may prove to be a little trickier than I thought.
In the meantime, I’ve been thinking about what else I could produce in kit form or as an after-market add-on. This is because as I model in N scale (or take a short break from it like I’m doing now), even though manufactured items are getting better all the time, there’s still a shortage in the things I’d like to see. That is…good detail on the types of items that are readily available for other scales or kits featuring more urban themes. Read the rest of this entry »
