The Great Scaper: Kitbashed N Scale City Structures

Some time ago, I stumbled upon the work of an N scale modeler who is building a complete 1:160 city — and quite well (and very quickly) I might add. His city is much more modern than I personally prefer, but he has a number of older-style kitbashed skyscrapers and plans to build several more appropriate for the 1940s. I’ve been following his modeling efforts over the last six months or so and thought I would share this with readers here.

See a Printable Billboard from This Blog Built Up with a Nicely Done Frame

The author of the Rotating Coupler blog has done a fantastic job of turning my printable N scale billboards into a very realistic finished piece for his scratchbuilt Dominion Building.

I thought some of you would like to see how well these can work with a little plastic and paint added for framing.  Read the Rotating Coupler post, Let’s Build a Billboard Frame.

If any of you have photos showing your layout with something you’ve downloaded here at N Scale Modeling, send me links or the photos themselves and I share them with the readers here.  You may contact me at nscalemodeling@comcast.net.
